Where are your prices? As my 1:1 courses are not standard one-size-fits-all it is hard to say before I've met you! It depends on what you need, what you want and how you want to learn. But, having said that, as a rough guide you could expect to pay around 1200 - 1500 euros for a personalised 50 hour blended general English course over 5 months (30 hours face to face and 20 hours online guidance). Group fixed term course prices can be found here Why do the group courses cost so much less? Having looked at many other English courses, I was surprised by the cost of many (often for inferior content). When I started teaching English, I wanted to help people who wanted to learn. I decided that I wasn't going to become rich, but I would feel good about what I was doing. In time, once the initial costs of creating the courses have been covered, I intend to reduce these prices even further - to increase the reach. I would like as many people as possible, from all around the world to learn with me. How long is the course? Again, this is up to you. Do you want a short intensive course or a longer less intensive course? Do you have an exam deadline? How long do you want it to be?! The group courses are 15 weeks (2+ hours a week study time) with fixed start and finish dates. Do I need to buy expensive software for online courses? No, no and no again. The software I use (Zoom) is available for free on the internet. You just need to download the app and create an account and we are off. The e-learning platform used is free for you to access. I would like to share my 1:1 course with a friend, is this possible? Certainly, if you are both at a similar level then it is often a good idea to have someone else to practice with. The software we use allows the face to face classes to be conducted with any number of participants. The cost per student would be lower too. Can I have a recording of the lesson? Yes you can, the Zoom application allows the teacher to record the lesson, so you can refer back to it whenever you like. Group courses have recordings of lessons embedded in the course after each live lesson.
