About My English Coach
Conversation always comes before opportunity. My goal is help you transfer the English language from your mind to your voice and then provide you useful and interesting conversation products to practice and build confidence in your speaking skills. Whatever we want to accomplish in life comes down to two basic ideas: choice and motivation. While there is no easy way to learn a language, some ways are certainly better than others. I teach English through conversation. When I was learning English as a child, no one told me I was using “present simple”. The most important rule in the English language is this, “If it sounds right, it usually is” especially for conversation English. Conversation English is what most students want. Most grammar rules can be automatically transferred to the student by training their ear to what sounds right. For example, “John don’t go to the park yesterday.” Does that sound right to you? I hope not. “John didn’t go to the park yesterday,” when you hear that no alarms go off because it is a correct English sentence. It’s like learning to play the piano. Piano players practice piano and when they hit a wrong key you know it. English students practice speaking and when they speak incorrectly, they are corrected and learn what sounds right.
